Final Thoughts: Ibanez GIO GSR200 is a good bass to start with for beginners and an inexpensive bass that can be use on studio recording to fill-in those basslines. The polar body is great to have on a entry level bass then adding the Active EQ that doesn’t come regularly on this category of basses to enhance the sound.

Bridge is hard to support the strings and tuners are acceptable to hold tuning that can also be change if you wish to do so making it more finer by replacing it with tuners with better gear ratio. Out of the box or with some minimal adjustment this bass is ready to play.
