Body and Neck: The outline of the body is comfortable and promotes easy access on the higher frets. The spacing between pick-ups is a bit tight for slap n’ pop that needs getting used to, but not much of a big issue. Also to be noted some models comes with Rockfield preamp rather than the Aguilar OPB-3.

Final Thoughts: Traben Chaos Core 5 is a gem of a bass if looking for one. The quality on the built is impressive, showing it could take a pounding on stage and its looks is superb giving the bass a plus factor for originality. Body wood is average in a sense when compared to mahogany, but the bridge, pick-ups and electronics on the bass is like no other to deliver a wide array of sound for every genre of music.
